I heard my mother saying that my dog has sarcoptic mange. I had no idea what that means so I head search for information. I found out that sarcoptic mange is a skin disease caused by infection with the sarcoptes scabei mites. Although sarcoptic mange is difficult to diagnose definitively, it is very easy to treat and there are many treatments available. What is very important is that all the dogs in the house, where there is one that has sarcoptic mange, should be treated.
